“Excellent yoga studio. I appreciate that the classes are kept small, allowing instructors to provide personalized guidance on proper form and alignment. They also offer periodic meditation sound bath classes with Anu, which are truly wonderful.”

“I immediately fell in love with Simpli Yoga from my very first class. It’s a small but mighty yoga studio with a diverse team of some of the best yoga teachers I’ve ever been taught by. I’ve been to many downtown “yoga studios” and Simpli truly keeps it real by offering a consistently authentic yoga experience in all their classes. The teachers are inclusive & sensitive to the needs of their attendees and develop a real sense of community among their members. It’s one of many reasons that I regularly choose this studio over so many others.”

“I started going to Mark as I felt stuck in a rut despite several years daily yoga … He quietly uses his anatomical knowledge to understand why some postures are harder for some people, and how to make progressing into the posture easier, making him a compassionate and intuitive teacher … I believe that his focus on channeling the breath to the inner layers and using as little tension as possible are the hallmarks of his teaching style. I have zero regret from studying with Mark, wish I had started with him much earlier, always enjoy and appreciate my trainings, and recommend without hesitation.”

How Does Yoga Benefit Your Life?

Pain arises from imbalance in underlying muscles and connective tissues. That imbalance is caused by our postural habits. When we bring balance to our posture we remove the source of the strain. No strain, no pain.

Our most basic source of energy is oxygen, which we acquire through breathing. Having an upright posture gives our lungs the space to expand fully, making deeper breathing easier. The different with 1 breath may be subtle, but we take about 23,000 breaths per day! Think about how much difference that will make.

With a good posture, you’ll look more poised, and radiate confidence from within.
