I am very inflexible.
Can I still practice yoga?

​Yes. There are always yoga poses/modification of poses you can feel comfortable in. You just need to accept where you are now, and work from where you can comfortably grow.

The problem most beginners have is trying to do what everyone else is doing. Trying to run a marathon without any prior training will be excruciatingly painful. You have to start from running a short distance and slowly increase your distance.

​Same with practicing yoga poses. If you try to do yoga poses that require a lot of flexibility right off the bat, it will be very painful. If you can start from a yoga pose/ modification where you can be comfortable, and progress as your body adapts, you’ll be surprised how much your flexibility can improve.
